A microprocessor is a multi purpose programmable logic device that has computing and decision making capability, similar to that of the (CPU) Central Processing Unit of a computer. It takes input then processes them and after processing it gives output.
The Microprocessor comprised of a register section (memory) one or more ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) and a Control Unit.Microcomputer : In which type of computer microprocessor is used as CPU is known as Microcomputer.
