Under Firefox upon downloading a file, you will be asked where you want to save it on your hard drive. To define a particular folder for your all your downloads,there are some settings to be configured. 
Click on Ok to validate the changes.
- Click on Firefox, click Tools then Options. In the window that opens, click the General tab.
- In the Downloads section:
- "Check the Saves files to" option
- Select the folder where you want to save all your downloads
- Note that the "Always ask me where to save files" option will be disabled.
Click on Ok to validate the changes.
