Bangladeshi Laptop Doel finally hits market Tuesday

Bangladeshi First Laptop “DOEL” will be hit the market Tuesday. Bangladesh Telephone Industry Organization (Tesis) to build the first laptop “DOYEL”.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurate the laptop. This laptop’s cost only 10^th thousand, said Telecommunication Minister Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju.

And mobile phone will be production 16^th December, next year will be start 3G mobile phone on 26 March, he also said.

The organization started test manufacturing of the 10-inch laptop on July 8.

The laptop will be four categories –Doel Primary Netbook, Doel Basic Netbook, Doel Standard Netbook and Doel Advanced Netbook– would be Tk.10000, Tk.13500, Tk.20500 and Tk.26,500 respectively, Ismail said.

Dhaka University first year admission test has been extended

Out 3,500 job from Nokia

These cuts are in addition to the 4,000 job cuts and 3,000 outsourced jobs the company announced in April as part of a massive restructuring effort.

"Nokia plans to close its manufacturing facilities in Cluj, Romania, by the end of 2011 ... and plans to close its (locations and commerce development) operations in Bonn, Germany and Malvern, US," by the end of next year, the Finnish company said in a statement.
